Pitch Night Alumni Compete in Miami's Event

Pitch Night alumni from all different years and cities competed in last week’s Seedfunders Pitch event hosted at The LAB Miami.

_{Top left} Mac Alabre (Pitch Night FTL NOV/2019) had an honorable mention and talked about his startup Lien Library, a platform that makes it easy for government and consumers to request, manage, and process property lien.

_{Middle bottom}, _{top right} Joe Russo (Pitch Night MIA OCT/2021) pitched even with a full cast on his startup Emergency Ventures, which builds technology to connect and serve citizens, volunteers, and emergency managers in natural disasters.

_{Top and bottom left} We had Dinerazo, a financial solution that offers investment solutions and education focused on the Hispanic community pitched by Israel Hernandez (Pitch Night MIA JUN/2021) who won $5k at the Start of Hispanic Heritage Month! What a way to celebrate and Congratulations to the winner!

Pitch Night NOV/2021 Participant Glamo Updates!

Rishelle Giscombe the founder and CEO of Glamo, a beauty-on-demand marketplace that connects clients with beauty professionals anywhere and at any time.

Before launching Glamo, she was providing beauty-on-demand services alone to hundreds of clients in Southern Florida while learning about the beauty industry. In the process, she realized there were a series of problems in the industry that could be resolved through technology.

She recently got awarded the Google for Startups Black Founders Fund which provides non-dilutive cash awards to Blac- led startups. Selected founders receive $100,000 in capital along with Google Cloud credits and hands-on support to help their startup grow.
