We're back next week at The LAB Miami

 Join us for Pitch Night for a night filled with great food, pitches, and of course networking with like-minded people.

 It's Breast Cancer Awareness Month and we encourage all of our participants to tell a loved one to get screened early or to donate to charities supporting free detection services and further research in the field. We'll be giving out pink ribbons to all attendees! 🎗

 We have some great sponsors and our favorite mixologist Raul is back to provide drinks from Diplomatico Rum and Canaima Gin 🍸

Etienne Gillard

Etienne Gillard is a veteran multicultural serial entrepreneur with 25 years of experience. Originally from Belgium, Etienne has spent most of his professional career in Spain.

 Etienne is the co-founder of Go For Languages, a training company started in 2000 which offers a full range of linguistic services to companies and individuals. Go For Languages offers language training solutions that can be adapted to any company, group, or individual. Founder of Waleteros, a Mobile Banking Solution for US Hispanics based on a Prepaid Card Solution, where a “Waletero” can cash checks in minutes, pay international bills and send money to Latam, anytime, anywhere!

More recently Etienne has focused his time on impact investing and leveraging his many years of expertise to help the Hispanic community by being a General Partner at 4Founders Capital a firm focused on empowering ambitious and talented entrepreneurs and their teams. 4Founders Capital only takes minority investments, and we typically co-invest with Angels with solid experience managing successful companies in the same or related industries.

 Etienne also joined the Mana Tech Team as the Head of Venture. Mana Tech is Mana Common’s initiative to cultivate a thriving and innovative tech community. Mana Tech believes that better outcomes are achieved by collaboration, connection, communication, and compassion.  Through their investments in technology ventures and the corresponding ecosystem, they aim to cultivate thriving and innovative tech community clusters within our neighborhoods.

How it Works:

10 best startups will be selected to pitch at the event by our analytic department.  

All applicants are invited to join our event as guests and have an amazing networking opportunity!  

Each startup will have 3 minutes of pitching time and 3 minutes to answer the questions of Judges.    
The winner will be announced at the end of the event.
